Of Malacca, T-Shirts and Recordings

Hello once again.
How are you guys? I'm doing all right thanks. Though I constantly rant about how hot the weather is these days :'(

First of all,
I'm sorry 'cause I haven't got time to draw the map to the venue of CODA's performance this coming 9th and 10th of June but I'll try to make it asap all right? I've already asked Nasser to get more info about the where abouts of the whole thing.

-----

I would like to ask you guys a question :
Are any of you interested in owning a CODA T-Shirt?
During the BlastOff 3 Finals, CODA was actually wondering whether would their fans would like to own a CODA T-Shirt but due to a limited time to spread the news, we decided to print t-shirts for our own circle of friends only. I was just wondering if there are fans who are still interested to get one.

Just running a small survey.
If there is a reasonable number of people still want the t-shirts, we might reprint a new batch! Do send me a comment here, or through CODA's MySpace, all right? Thanks.

**Will confirm with you guys again with details of the t-shirt; price/where to collect them/size etc.**

Later in the evening,
Mie will be recording his vocals for "Farewell" so, you could say that the song is almost done.
Unfortunately I cannot be there today to record the whole thing but don't be upset... cause I have more pictures from Malacca!

Oh yeah,
About the videos from Malacca,
alot of you guys have been msging me on YouTube, this blog and Myspace asking,
"WHERE'S THE REST OF THE PERFORMANCE? I WANNA SEE THE WHOLE THING!"

Ok ok. I have an explanation.
A good one, I promise!
When we were in Malacca, I used Nas' digi cam to record 90% of the performance but when the file transfers to my laptop, I can seem to open it! And the only way is to install QuickTime but I don't want to because it will clash with my other stuff and will change the format of my vids and songs.

So, if there's anyone out there,
who knows a way to convert MOV files into MPEG or AVI, pleaaaseee do sent me a comment here or through myspace all right?

Really sorry for the major delay.

MALACCA TIME!!!
1st Day : The Journey

On the way to Malacca. You can see a glimpse of me in the side mirror! Haha, sneek peek of the blog moderator. The journey to Malacca took the entire day because we left KL rather late in the evening and when we reached Malacca, we had to find the hotel by the beach situated in Pantai Puteri, if I'm not mistaken.

Malacca, herrrreee comes Coda! Here's CODA's pad for the 2 days that we've been there. This is just the living hall though :

The first night was spent by having a seafood dinner. Mie insisted that it is must have some 'ikan bakar' and without thinking we just went for it because everyone was pretty much starving at the moment. The service was really slow and the guy who was serving us had some serious attitude problem, that didn't stop them from taking loads of pictures. There's more but I'm going to post the best ones here :

Nas, Ijam and Mie had an early night's rest while the rest of us, Akir, Jashir, Pat (a friend of ours) and myself decided to hang around, talked all night about planning a scheme to scare the guys who were already sleeping, put Colgate in their faces and make ghostly sounds to wake them up but we dozed off half way while chit-chatting but we woke up again around 3am to watch Sixth Sense which was on TV *lol*

2nd day : The Soundcheck & Performance.

The guys were transported to the venue by a van provided by the event management noon time for their soundcheck. The guys were making fun of their performance passes as it had "ARTIS" written on it, lol. Even I had a pass which says "TEKNIKAL" as in, the technical team, I guess. I wish I had the "MEDIA" pass instead :-P I'm so greedy. But it was very exciting and I was pretty anxious for the band, seeing that this is their first real show, besides playing for Pandan Music Festival which was more like a gig.

Waiting in the lobby for the van to arrive for the souncheck @ 12pm and the show @ 5pm. Briefing from the guy who manages all the bands for the day :

5pm : Before the show. That was pretty much it. After the show, we went back to the hotel to get some rest before heading home to KL at night. Picture Of The Day :
